Through the use of mainly onomatopoeia and lush watercolor
drawings, author and illustrator build a dreamy look at the beginning, middle
and after effects of a sudden downpour.
While this would just be fun to read out loud to a crowd for story time,
this would also be a great jumping off point for a writing prompt at any grade
level.
