In this book the narrator is a duck, named Carl, who talks to the reader and invites them to draw on the pages. The reader become an agent on a mission to help find the Slimy Space Slugs, they have stolen some jars. Lots of silly illustrations and places for the reader to get involved. For example, the duck needs keys to get in a door so the reader has to quick and draw some.

This is a great interactive story for a child who likes to draw. I really enjoy this author and this book would make a super fun gift. Let me make this clear, you must draw in this book, so it will not work for a school library. I think it would be most enjoyed by a 3rd -4th grade reader.
