This detailed book features a group of mice searching a house
from top to bottom for stuff to create a celebration with. They get into
everything! From tool boxes to a bedroom safe to food in the kitchen. Each page
is stuffed with lift the flap activities, some sliders, and some popups. The
last page features a large double page popup created by the mice with what they
collected in their search.
This is a really fun book! Children will love spending time
peering into each flap and searching for mice. There are some fun things to
find and cute illustrations. It would hold up better than a true pop-up book,
because only one page is a true fold-out large popup. There isn’t much a story
to it, per se, but each little flap reveals words to be read. Some of the
features are trickier, so not great for pre-k.
