Don’t Move a Muscle (Creepover #21) by P.J. Night -OPTIONAL

Night, P.J. Don’t Move a Muscle (Creepover #21) 140 pgs Simon, 2016. $6.99 Content: Language: G (0 swears); Mature Content: G Violence: G
Cora and her friends have a big assignment to get done about Greek Mythology and big plans to make for the upcoming school dance. Cora is very shy and doesn’t think she can go to the dance, but meets a new boy in town and starts to get to know him. Evan know a lot of about Greek Mythology and the pair hit of off. He works for two old women who own a creepy statue garden and in order to spend time with him Cora spends more and more time there. Can Cora figure it out before its too late?
Although there is dating in this book, it can work for upper elementary, as its very G rated. The story is creepy and the Greek mythology aspect adds interest. The cover is a bit boring, but the pages have creepy dripping blood, so readers will enjoy that. The big question is, how many of one series do you need? I only have a couple, so I will probably add this one to the collection.

This sounds a bit like Shusterman's Dread Locks, but these books are wildly popular in my library. Since they don't have to be read in order, I don't mind buying a good number of them. Hadn't known they were still being published. Thanks.
