A little mouse follows a balloon and ends up on a long adventure
away. He didn’t mean for any part of the journey to happen, but his small
actions guide the course of his journey further from his worried mother. He will
have to be brave, because night time is falling and he is far from home.
There is a sweet and simple book featuring bright yet harmonious
water color illustrations. I think that parents will understand the lesson of
this story, that your actions are your fault and you do worry your parents, but
I think that lesson will be completely lost on young readers –though they will
still enjoy the journey.
