This is a the true story of author Jimmy Gownley’s young adult
years, as he experiences school, crushes, friendships, and his journey into
becoming a successful graphic novel author. Including how a dumb idea became a successful surprise!
I am not familiar with this author and his art style is not my
favorite, with no background or interest, I found this an incredibly boring
read. However, a fan of this author/illustrator would find this incredibly
inspiring and interesting, as they get a peek into the life of their favorite
storyteller.
