Jasper is playing dragons with his friends. Isabel and Zoe come up to them and demand
they play “babies” with them. Jasper and
Ori agree to play. In the classroom Isabel becomes Jasper’s reading partner. After
school that day, Isabel asks Jasper’s mom for his phone number so they can
play. Jasper does NOT want to play with Isabel because she is a girl and all
girls do is comb their hair and do “girly” things. Isabel and Jasper end up
having a play date. Read to find out whether this is a good or a bad thing. I
liked how simple but detailed the illustrations were. I also liked the simplicity of the
