This is a sequel to the classic Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.  (Which just happens to be one of our favorite books.)  We were thrilled to read this sequel and weren’t the least bit disappointed.  Kate and Henry can’t wait for Grandpa to return from his vacation.  Grandpa’s postcard stated that it had been one of the best vacations ever.  As Kate drifts off to sleep, she dreams of a most wonderful adventure filled with gigantic bagels, popcorn snowing down on trees that look like broccoli, and tuna fish sandwiches that have to be delicately airlifted by helicopters.  Her dream ends with dinner raining down- with the traditional spaghetti and meatballs!  As Kate awakes she can’t wait to share her dream with her grandpa, who arrives that very afternoon.  Little does Kate (or the reader) know that there is a huge surprise ending in store for Kate and her Grandfather.  Pre-K.
