This classic song was
originally written as a poem for Thanksgiving in 1844. Tavares’ illustrations bring out the
winterwonderland for each verse – several more verses than any modern child
actually knows exist. It seems like it
would be a great song for any holiday gathering and a cute book a read aloud
with a n actual trip to Grandma’s.
