After Vanessa’s older sister Margaret goes missing while studying at the New York Ballet Academy Vanessa makes it her mission to attend the same school and find out exactly what happened to her sister. She doesn’t believe that she simply ran away. While at the Academy, Vanessa meets new friends and a mysterious senior boy catches her eye. When Vanessa lands the lead female role in the school she should be thrilled, but she can’t help feeling that she’s following in her sister’s footsteps.
This book was alright. The cover is beautiful, and then idea of the story is very intriguing. But the further into the book I got the more confused I became. The writing is not the best, and the protagonist, Vanessa, tends to be annoying at times. NOT RECOMMENDED. Reviewer: AL
