This is a very simple explanation about birds.  Each page has a one sentence description about birds, such as “Birds have feathers” or “Baby birds hatch from eggs”.  This book covers the basics of what birds do, where they live and what they look like.  Each page has a beautiful illustration of different birds that can be found in North America.  At the end of the book there is a paragraph about each page that gives more information about that particular bird or about birds in general.  This would be a great introduction for young kids to birds and their habitats.
