Nate Flips Out. 224 pgs. Harper Collins, 2013. $13.99. Content: G.
This book is about a boy named Nate. He is very, very messy. When he loses something that belongs to his friend, his friend gets mad and Nate gets angry with him. Nate says something that he shouldn’t have said. Nate then goes to a psychic hoping that he will hypnotize him and he will become neat and tidy. It works! But now Nate can’t stop cleaning and keeps getting good grades. How will Nate ever get back to normal?
I liked this story because the illustrations were great. I liked how the book was part comic book, part novel. I liked how Nate likes to draw comics inside of the book as well.
