Christopher Goodman was different—not good or bad, he just
stuck out among the other high school students. Christopher was kind, which
makes the discovery of his dead body even more shocking by two boys who had
seen Christopher just the night before. Who is responsible for killing a kid so
genuinely nice?
The story of Christopher Goodman is very relevant for our
day where shootings seem to happen frequently. Six characters show their
perspectives of what happened leading up to, at the time of, and after
Christopher Goodman’s murder, and the different points of view show the roles of
those who committed the murder as well as those who find themselves responsible
for the murder. This highlights the principle of “see something, say something”
in helping look out for the well-being of our communities.
