Invasion of the Insects (The DATA set #6) by Ada Hopper -ADVISABLE

Hopper, Ada Invasion of the Insects (The DATA set #6), 128 pages. Little Simon, 2017.  $17.  Language: G (o swears); Mature Content: G; Violence: G.

This is the story of four friends who just happen to know a really cool scientist. After having several adventures because of him, they never know what to expect. Dr. Bunsen's current experiment is a bug repellent system. When the kids go to see him, Laura gets shrunk to bug size, and before you know it -they are all bug size. First they go on a rescue mission to get Laura (who has been taken by a dragonfly). Then they have to safely get back to the lab and find some way of letting Dr. Bunsen know they are tiny!

I have reviewed other books from this series and like the science appeal and the creative adventures. However the first two books have received zero checkouts in my library and I am stumped as to why –the covers are appealing, they are an easy read for high K and first graders, the illustrations are fun. I would still add this to my library and hope to increase my book talks and see this fun series get some circulation.
