The human mother warns her child of the wild wolf in the
woods. Meanwhile, the wolf mother warns
her cub of the evil humans who prowl the woods.
When the two young ones meet up they have other ideas and not only
befriend each other, but also frolic with other young animals. Night is coming, though and their mothers are
looking to bring them home.
As much as I like the dreamy illustrations of this book, I
have a hard time recommending a book that promotes a young child trying to find
a wolf cub to play with in the woods.
