Huddleson, Tom The Snare (Star Wars Adventures in Wild Space #2) 137 pgs. Disney, 2017. $5.99 Content: Language: G (0 swears); Mature Content: G Violence: G

When Lina and Milo’s explorer parents are kidnapped by the Empire, they decide to try to find them and rescue them, but they have the help of their ship android CR-8R. After a narrow escape from an Empire Captain in the last book, they decide to land on the mysterious jungle planet, where a rebel transmission appears to be coming from. When they land, it appears all the buildings and spacecraft are worse than deserted, something monstrous must have attacked. They are horrified but continue their search.
Ohh! I am really starting to LOVE this series. This book had mystery, adventure, and wild space creatures. I didn't feel like the main plot line of the parent rescue made much progress, but it wasn't forgotten. With its different author, I think the first books author was better at character building, and this author better at past paced action. I think student readers will love getting to read about adventures in the Star Wars galaxy.
