Sukie the dog has gone with her girl for a day at the
beach. But Sukie is afraid of everything
- that is until she has to be brave to rescue her Chunka Munka.
I’m going to read this out loud a lot just so that I can say
“Chunka Munka” lots of times! Great
combination of text and illustrations.
With all of the anxiety assigned to the dog, this could be a way to
start a conversation about fears and how to handle them.
Pre-K, EL (K-3) - ADVISABLE.
