A jolly group of fish are playing Follow the
Leader. Their numbers grow from 1-10. Unaware of what lurks around them, the
fish are then eaten one by one by a shark. Follow the Leader turns into Swallow
the Leader! Their numbers dwindle to one. An unexpected twist happens when the
shark lets out a loud burp and all of the fish friends are reunited.
This story
is great for the reader who loves to count and has an affinity for sharks and
fish. They might even giggle when they find out the shark burps! This is a
great addition to a collection of counting books.
