Return to the Ice Palace (Anna & Elsa #8) by Erica David -ADVISABLE

David, Erica Return to the Ice Palace (Anna & Elsa #8) 120 pgs. Random House, 2016. $9.99  Content: Language: G (0 swears); Mature Content: G Violence: G
Its spring and the palace needs some repairs. Elsa, Anna, and Olaf try to do some themselves, with some well-intended but not so great results. When they discover the ice palace needs some repairs too, that is something Elsa can handle. There they meet tiny snowmen called snowgies, which turn out to be a whole pile of mischief. When important ambassadors come to the palace, will the snowgies spoil their visit?
This is a fun chapter book for a younger reader (second grade is my best prediction or first grade with some help) and would be fun for a fan of the movie. The cover is glossy and bright and will be sure to catch readers eye. It could function as a read-alone, which is nice for younger readers and for libraries. The original fervor may have cooled but Disney princess books are always popular regardless.
