Esther knows there is something wrong about how they live, but she’s powerless to stop it. She must play her role or else become renewed and disappear like the girls before her. When the opportunity comes to help all of them get out alive, Esther must find the courage to go against everything she has learned to find reality again.

Page one drew me in and never let go. Following Esther’s story kept me on edge, though the abrupt perspective change in the middle of the book threw me off, and I almost stopped reading because of it. Hang in there, readers, because the story of Esther’s bravery and persistent hope does not stop until the last page turns.
