Harper has recently moved from New York City to Washington DC. She is shrouded in mystery; she was involved in a school fire, and committed briefly to an institution -  she's ready for a fresh start.  But the house they move to seems to be haunted. She can feel the presence of something, and her 4-year-old brother is tormented by a ghost who wants to play with him. When unseen hands push and prod Harper causing 2 serious accidents, she ends up in the hospital, and like the fire, she has no real explanation.  After the problems in New York, will anyone believe her?

This is an exciting and creepy story.  Full of danger and mystery, this is going to be hard to keep on the shelves.  A great cover picture, and good ghost action right away.  I love that it is scary without being overly violent or graphic.  Just enough gross to keep the reader on their toes.
