A little boy is trying to get his llama ready
for class pictures. Llama’s hair is out
of control, so the boy takes us through the process of washing, brushing and
styling the llama’s hair. Many different
hairstyles are considered, but because Llama can’t hold still during his trim, Llama
and the boy end up with a buzz cut.
This
series of board books is adorable and this one is my favorite. The llama has the best facial expressions and
the little boy is cute. The
entertaining, yet simple story will keep the reader guessing what happens to
Llama’s hair until the end and at the same time teach young kids why it’s
important to hold still during a haircut.
