Olive is not so sure she likes the hat and when other friends make fun of her, she tries to hide the hat and eventually puts it in the garbage. Joe comes by just in time to witness Olive throwing away the hat and his feelings are hurt. Olive knows that somehow she needs to make up for hurting Joe’s feelings.
