This board book takes the reader through various colors and the birds that match them. Each color has two corresponding birds and notes whether the birds illustrated are female or male. There is a note on the back of the book about which plants are pictured along with the birds. The pictures are very realistic and colorful. This is a great combination of early learning skills (colors) and nonfiction.
