Curious George Discovers the Stars
Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016.
$6.99 PICTURE BOOK Content: G.
George was in the country and was amazed by all the stars. He tried to count them but fell asleep. When he gets back to the city he realizes
that he can’t see as many stars because of the city lights. When the city has a brownout, he is happy
because then he thinks he can count all the stars.
In this Curious George Discovers series all
of the books have side bars that have facts on the topic George is interested
in. The side bars are interesting, succinct
and have pictures, but it jostles the story to stop and read all of them. George is cute and the pictures are bright and
attractive.
