Crys (pronounced
Kris) nosily opens a package from her aunt to her mother that contains an old undecipherable
book. As Crys and her sister, Becca,
look at the book, Becca goes into a catatonic state. Crys finds that her mom and aunt are hiding a
big family secret that includes a secret society. Crys is willing to do whatever it takes to
help Becca and she finds herself interrogating a guy named Ferrell who she
doesn’t know if she can trust.
Meanwhile, Becca has been thrown into another world through a different
dimension, with only one guy that can see her and he has problems of his
own.
This book is told from three
different perspectives-Crys, Ferrell and Becca.
I loved the story line because it has adventure, romance and mystery. I think this is the beginning to a new series that will
be just as entertaining as Rhodes Falling Kingdom series. It does leave the ending open and I can’t
wait to read more.
