Pete and Gabby are
bear cubs. One day they leave the campground to explore and discover a cute
schoolhouse. They find mischief at every turn when they find the music room,
the art room, class pets, and the cafeteria. Will they get caught and their fun
be over?
I like the idea
behind this, but this book doesn't quite work for me. There are lots of kindergartners who are worried about coming to school for the first time, so having a book
about how fun it will be is useful. But this book makes it look like its only
fun to get in trouble. The illustrations are cute, but the colors are sort of
subdued which make it look dated.
