Franklin and the Little Sisters adapted by Harry Endrukat –OPTIONAL

Bourgeois, Paulette and Illustrated by Clark, Brenda Franklin and the Little Sisters 24 pgs. Kids Can Press, 2013. $5.36.  Content: Language: G (0 swears); Mature Content: G; Violence: G.
Franklin and Bear just want to spend time in their tree house not watch their little sisters. When they try to distract the girls with a ground fort made of the boxes, the girls surprise them all with their creativity and ability to share.
This is a new Franklin book based on the animated series. I think the artwork is stills from the show, and they are kind of freaky to be honest. The plot didn't flow that well and felt stilted. I know it was supposed to be fresh and modern, but it the old books weren't really due for an update.
