Abbie Adams is a witch, but she still has to go to regular school. Abbie has a hard time keeping up with her school homework, witch studies, and keeping her little brother Munch from turning into a wolf and eating his teacher. Abbie longs to tell her best friend Callie the truth, but can’t. Together they discover a kitty, Abbie recognizes at once that something is different about it. The kitty ends up being a young Thomas Edison who is heavily cursed. Witches can time-travel with ease, but they can’t return Thomas until they can take off all the curses and find the culprit.

Abbie is a likeable but forgettable character. Children looking for lightweight magical read will be satisfied with this book.
