Brosnan explores the world of microbes and the microbiome inside our digestive system. 

Brosnan stuffs a lot of information onto the pages of her book.  Some of the info is type-set, other info is handwritten. All of it is supported by the author’s amusing drawings – a better interface than if it contained photos. But there is A LOT of information.  It takes concentration to follow and understand – or digest – the info. So as entertaining and informative it is, it is not a read aloud.
