Alice’s mom has dragged Alice and her little sister to Mom’s
hometown to take care of her aging mother.
Alice is sure that her dad will reappearing any day to whisk them back
to life in the big city. After Alice
does something wrong, she makes it up to her neighbor, Miss Millie, by offering
to walk her dog, but because Clarence is stubborn, Alice ends up walking Miss
Millie too. Those walks allow Alice to
learn a lot about herself and her place in the world.
This is a must read for fans of utterly sweet books that tug
on your heart. Bundy could join Suzanne
LaFleur, Dandi Mackall, and Natasha Friend as my go-to authors for these types
of books.
EL – ADVISABLE.
