When the new neighbors move into the cursed house next door,
Angie is intensely curious. Especially
when she sess the particularly handsome Reece.
But Angie and her best friends, Deno and Lacey are on the outskirts of
the local high school scene which Reece penetrates with ease. Angie’s oly real outlet is in her music and
spinning a wicked set each weekend as the mysterious DJ Sparo at a local youth
club. But there is a large gathering of
crows in the small town. An ominous
sign, which seems to presage dire happenings.
Angie is sure that Reece knows something about the coming danger. Even as she is drawn to him, she is still
wary.
I picked this up to read the same day it arrived – and I was
not disappointed. Kassel drew me in and
pleased my reading eyes in so many ways.
Were it not for the swear count, this would be rated essential.
MS, HS – OPTIONAL.
