Milgrim, David. My Friend Lucky, PICTURE BOOK. Simon Spotlight, 2002. $3.99. This is an easy reader book about the give and take of a little boy and his dog. Opposites are highlighted in all the things that the dog, Lucky, does. This has very simple text and scribble-type illustrations. It’s a good topic for an early reader book, which can sometimes get monotonous, but it’s not anything spectacular. PRE-K, EL (K-3)- OPTIONAL. Reviewed by Shay, School Librarian
