This simple and short book walks students through a trip to India.
It includes the Ancient temples, the habitat, elephants, and favorite foods. It
features large bright pages and well-chosen high quality photographs
Countries are part of first grade curriculum and this is a great
series that a first grader could read fully on their own. It would be great for
a reading table or a small assignment. I have a large collection of country
books for upper elementary readers, but none for lower grade, and I would buy
this set to fill that void. It has just the right amount of information and
interest without being too overwhelming. The photographs chosen are just
stellar.
