Out of Tune by Gail Hall - OPTIONAL

Nall, Gail Out of Tune, 327 pages Schuster Children Publishing Division, 2016. $18 Language: PG (5 swears); Mature Content: G; Violence: G.

Maya Mae is a self-inspired twelve-year-old girl who loves to sing. She has her whole life planned out - win the dueling duets with her crush/partner Jack and become rich and famous as a country music star. But this is all interrupted when her parents decide to sell their house in Nashville and buy an RV to explore the country. This means that Maya will have to give up her dreams and go on the road with her annoying family.

While reading this book I found it hard to keep up with the story. It was not very straight to the point and kept lagging on with no real progress. I also found it hard to keep concentrated while reading it. Because of this it was very hard to get into the book. On another side I did like the plot of the story and the characters
