Galdone, Paul The Teeny-Tiny Woman: A Folk Tale Classic. PICTURE BOOK. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 1984. $8.99. Content: G.
This book tells the story of a teeny-tiny woman who finds a teeny-tiny bone in a teeny-tiny churchyard and decides to take it home to her teen-tiny house and to add it to her teeny-tiny soup.
And, yes, the book is exactly as repetitive as the above paragraph sounds. It is also much less scary than intended -- in fact, many will probably miss the conclusion and have to re-read in order to get it. Fans of the story may enjoy this version, but it's not likely to find a huge audience in most libraries or classrooms.
