Mohammed is found on the beach badly beaten. Those who find him try to keep him hidden and
safe until a proper agency can be found that might help him.
Hidden deals with
the social climate of illegal immigrants in England. An interesting read considering our
immigration issues here at home. I liked
how it teaches about the refugee issues, including why people end up leaving
their home countries. The stabbing of
Samir and beating of Mohammed made the book more realistic. The bullying at school was also
realistic. I didn't like how the teenagers
openly lied to the police with no consequences.
MS-ADVISABLE.
