Jinx and Jackson are on the case again and this time Todd, another popular football jock, is having trouble sleeping and his family’s business is in trouble. A regular haunt for a normally jovial ghost, The Black Tavern resident specter seems to have turned into a poltergeist. An engaging, quick read for reluctant readers. The character are entertaining and the plot is fast-moving and does a great job of holding reader’s interest. Readers who like mystery, horror, and ghost hunting will love reading this book. EL(5-6), MS, HS. ESSENTIAL. Reviewer: Kira M, Youth Services Librarian, WHI Public Library.
