When Jason finds that Sunshine,
his best friend has gone missing, his voices go wild. Yes his voices, Jason is
an alphabet as is Sunshine and Drip his only friends. An alphabet is someone
who has a disorder. So you can imagine the panic that ensued once Sunshine went
missing. Jason struggles to help in the investigation but the entire time his
voices are telling him that it is his fault that she is gone. How do they know
what he did? I found this book to be really interesting. It was eye opening to
read a book from this point of view. I think that this would be a helpful book
for children to read because of the way Vaught presents how it feels to have
schizophrenia. It was a good book to have read and I am glad that I was able to
become more humble and understanding through reading this.
HS - ADVISABLE.
