One day while Sophie is home alone, she hears a mysterious bumping upstairs. When she investigates, she finds a hurt bird. Through helping the bird she discovers that kindness not only feels good, but it can lead to new friends and adventures!
Like the other Sophie Mouse books, this one is a quick read filled with friendly pictures, large fonts, and short chapters. Sophie is easy to empathize with, and her adventure at the end adds a lot of unexpected fun to the story. A good addition to this early chapter book series.
