Riordan, Rick The Lost Hero, 557 p. Disney/Hyperion, 2010. $18.99.
Violence: PG (similar to other Riordan books).
Where’s Percy Jackson? No one knows. But, we have Jason, Piper and Leo, who are newly discovered demi-gods at Camp-Half Blood and Jason has no memory of his life, but Piper and Leo seem to know him. No time to rest – Jason has a quest to fulfill and Piper and Leo must help him.
Riordan has made Greek mythology popular and he looks to do the same with the Romans. I like how he lets the gods remain true to their established mythology, educating and entertaining at the same time. Riordan ROCKS! And you can not go wrong having several of these on your shelves.
