The Jungle Book by Rudyard Kipling

Kipling, Rudyard The Jungle Book, illustrated by Nicola Bayley.  149 p. Candlewick, 2010 (paperback).  $12.99.  Candlewick has taken the unabridged Jungle Book and added illustrations by Nicola Bayley, for a bright look at a classic.  I can’t imagine how many hours it takes to illustrate such a book – especially since Ms. Bayley worked in color pencil.  I have to admit, my favorite version of The Jungle Book is the Whole Story version.  EL.
