Over the Edge by Norah McClintock

McClintock, Norah Over the Edge (A Chloe & Levesque mystery), 216 p. Kane Miller, 2010.  $5.99.  Chloe was not thrilled when her blended family moved from big city Montreal to dinky East Hastings, but her stepfather’s new job as chief of police demanded it.  Six weeks in and Chloe’s little sister has already found her way, but Chloe is still bereft.  When another school loner disappears and then is found dead at the bottom of a cliff, Chloe can’t leave it alone – she doesn’t believe it was suicide at all.  I actually sat down with this one and didn’t stop reading until I was finished.  I had a great time and it makes for a good mystery suggestion to almost any student.  MS – ADVISABLE.  Cindy, Library-Teacher.
