Karr, 17, has been feeling funny for the past couple of years.  Sometimes when he touches things, he collapses and sees visions — of Jedi?? It’s been about 30 years since the battle of Yavin and most people around him believe the Jedi are either extinct or just a legend.  When he meets Maize, a rebellious rich girl, they take off in her father’s personal starship to hunt down artifacts across the galaxy.
I had a very hard time figuring out where this book fit into the Star Wars universe and also why should I care about Karr and Maize.  I had to spend a lot of time on the Wookipedia to figure things out — Karr is moving around just a bit before Rey leaves Jakku.  I have so many problems with the timeline and structure of this book. If anyone asks, I’d be happy to be more detailed.
