Margo wants the lead in the school play, but
Vicky is chosen instead. It is obvious
to Margo that Vicky doesn’t know the first thing about acting, which leads her
to learn that Oliver (the new kid at school) is a genie who granted Vicky her
wish. When Oliver’s token is left in the
bathroom, Margo now has the right to make three wishes. What she finds is love and a whole lot of
trouble.
This is a creative idea and the
story line is easy to follow with just enough mystery to keep the reader
guessing. I actually liked it until the
ending, I felt like it was rushed and Margo’s decisions were unjustified. The ending ruined it for me-making me not
like the characters and not liking the book.
