This book is about three sisters who want to form a band.  They practice and practice and finally have their first public performance.  They receive money and offers to put them on stage in a club.  They earn a lot of money and after a few years pass by, they go on tour and everyone loves them.  Then people start saying that they aren’t very good.  This doesn’t stop them from practicing.  They still have a lot of fans.  After many more years, they are really old now.  They are still performing and their fans still love them.  This book has a great message about never giving up.  I liked the wording in this book but not the pictures.  The illustrations seemed too realistic and different and should be more kid-friendly.  EL(K-3).  OPTIONAL.
