When Staci Glass gets talked in to
doing a séance with her friends and three girls who claim to be witches, she
finds herself over her head. An ancient mummy comes back to life as a real boy
and the three witches are truly being jerks. They are determined to steal the
boy’s powers and become unstoppable and they’re willing to stop at nothing to
get what they want. To make matters worse, Staci is developing feelings for the
boy. Can she make the right decision before it’s too late?
The illustrations are detailed and
vivid in color. The secondary characters are a little one-dimensional, but the
main characters, Staci and the boy are well-developed. The plot is fast-moving
and intriguing. Readers who like paranormal fiction, graphic novels, and magic
