In this book about inventions, many different questions are asked that explain how and why things were made.  The first couple of pages explain why we have inventions and how inventors get their ideas.  Some of the different inventions that are covered include the toilet, the shower and baths.  The book explains the evolution of the refrigerator, toasters and microwave ovens.  All sorts of ideas are covered from false teeth to video games.  Each page has colorful pictures that help illustrate the point.  Multiple questions are asked on each page spread with side bars that have other fun facts about related items.   I think this book has the perfect amount of information to get young readers interested in different inventions without bogging them down with too many detail.
