Kit is a newspaper reporter for her family paper and she’s
not afraid to get at the truth, even if it’s up against the worst in Las
Vegas. However, one night her best
friend is killed while trying to gather information for Kit’s story. Griffin Shaw is the angel who comes to
collect Kit’s best friend and he makes a mistake that condemns him to a human
body until he can trade his mistake for the death of Kit. While trying to figure out his own
death, Griffin becomes interested in Kit and the story she is trying to
uncover. Unable to allow Kit’s death, Griffin and Kit soon find themselves
uncovering the highest politicians in the city who are all involved in a
prostitution ring made up of minors.
This story has great characters and setting, and the storyline moves
along quickly. It’s actually an
entertaining read for adults, but there is no place for this content in any
schools. The mature content
includes attempted rape, on page sex and other Mature acts that are described
in detail. The characters are
adults in their late 20s and early 30s, and it just isn’t a book for the
schools.
PUBLIC ONLY. Reviewer, C. Peterson.
