Santa enjoys working on the toys for Christmas, but he is
getting tired of delivering the presents.
He finds the weather hard too, so Mrs. Claus finds them a wonderful
vacation spot called Mistletoe Island.
When they get to the island they enjoy playing tennis, surfing, taking
dance lessons and yoga. When
the reindeer come to visit, Santa announces that he is going to retire. The elves and the reindeer can’t
function without Santa, and when word gets back to Santa he returns to the
North Pole in time to save Christmas night.
The illustrations are blurry and inconsistent in their
style. The story seemed choppy and
not very well developed. The cover
is attractive and makes it look like a fun Christmas story, but it was just
subpar.
